New Product Launch

QManager

The QManager can manage and synchronise systems ranging from single drives to machines with 240 axes. It uses Servonet to link intelligent drives, organising, communicating and configuring from a central program, monitoring and interacting while the machine is running. Incorporating a 10/100Mb/s Ethernet connection, along with Profibus, Devicenet and Canopen.

There are also up to 16 inputs and 8 outputs for direct digital I/O connections. An additional CANbus port manages additional analogue & encoder inputs. Supplied with Quin Windows based software, as the QControl 4.

Optional software includes the PTS Scope, which offers machine diagnostics in real time plus analysers, and can be operated over an Internet connection.

QManager details

mini QDrive

The mini QDrive is a low cost, single phase, QDrive that operates from 110-230V AC, combining a digital servo drive, with a programmable motion controller, capable of controlling any AC brushless servo motor with a continuous current rating of up to 4A (8A peak). It can also provide flux vector control of AC induction motors. Comes with 8 digital 1 analogue, I/O as standard. This unit brings true motion control to small applications, or where three phase supplies are not available. Standard features include an EMC filter, soft-start circuitry, resolver feedback and CANbus interface. Encoder, Hiperface, EnDat feedback is an option. Set up and tuning is done via the Quin Windows based software, which offers all usual benefits.

QControl 4

Quin's Qcontrol4

The QControl 4 provides inputs for incremental, SSI, Hiperface and EnDat encoders, with the option of a fifth, master encoder input. It also includes a 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet interface and supports Profibus, Devicenet, Interbus S, Modbus and Datahighway.

There are 16 digital inputs & 8 digital outputs, which can be expanded, with 4 +/- 10V analogue inputs. Windows based tools are provided for motion generation, configuring, tuning & diagnosing installations. Motion profiles can be designed and visualised in terms of position, velocity, acceleration and rate-of-change acceleration (jerk). Includes a library of standard machine functions, including registration, tension, gearing and cams.
