Specification, which was agreed by all parties
before any work proceeded. The document:
- discussed the operation of each of the
16 machine elements in detail
- specified the process variables and the
operator input requirements
- detailed the size of the servo motors
- defined
the I/O and sensor requirements
- included a
safety assessment
