PTS Control systems
are designed to operate within a networked factory
environment, as well as stand alone. Many PLC
and fieldbus protocols are supported.
- Link
Encoder the
simplest system.
A motor axis encoder
signal is passed from one PTS system to the
next, allowing them to synchronize
- Modbus allows
PLCs to interact with
the control system, enabling complex
I/O or management.
- Data
Highway is a PLC protocol
allowing a PTS system to be linked with PLCs.
- CANopen,
Profibus, DeviceNet Fieldbus protocols
allowing the PTS to be part of a factory
wide automation and data collection system.
- Ethernet (TCP/IP)
allows multiple PTS systems to be managed from
a single source.
- SERVOnet -
a modular, network based PTS system capable
of controlling 180 axes distributed
around the machine by linking QDrive and/or
QControl modules together.
